Stacey had been a fan of “Days of Our Lives” for as long as she could remember and one day, about 20 years ago, she had the opportunity to take a road trip to Greenville, SC where several Days stars were doing a public appearance for a "Celebrity Softball" game to raise funds for a local charity. From then on, she attended the Greenville event every year and began attending other fan events in places like Virginia, New York and California and even had the opportunity to visit the Days set. One year, in Greenville, Judi Evans auctioned off a lunch with her in California. Stacey bid and won and through that trip and the other events she attended, friendships started to form with some of the stars of her favorite soap. It was a dream come true!
Diagnosed with diabetes 30 years ago, Sean Kemp knows first hand the need for further research into type 1 diabetes and he has been very involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) for many years. He is currently on the board of directors for JDRF and he participates in many events to raise money for diabetes research so when the opportunity presented itself to help run his own event to benefit JDRF, he eagerly accepted the challenge.
Stacey and Sean met when they worked together for several years and during that time, they became good friends and Sean would often tease Stacey about all of the Days pictures she had hanging on her wall. Both Stacey and Sean moved onto other jobs but they kept in touch and one night, in 2005, they met at a bar and discussed Stacey's upcoming trip to the Days set and Sean's JDRF walk. The conversation then went in a different direction when they contemplated how they could combine Stacey's passion for Days and her developing friendships with some of the cast members with Sean's desire to do whatever he could to increase awareness of JDRF and raise money for this worthy cause. The rest, as they say, is history!
Since beginning their collaboration, they have branched out to support not only JDRF but also the Childhood Cancer Lifeline of New Hampshire and soon, they hope to add the Retinoblastoma International (RBI) non-profit organization to the growing list of charities that they support with the Days Charity Event.
Thank You!
We do not get paid to plan these events and as many people know, we both have families and full time jobs so we rely on a wonderful team of family and friends who generously volunteer their time to help plan and execute each event. We also depend on the Days stars to continue to support our efforts and, of course, on all of the amazing fans who attend the events.
Every event is made possible by the contribution of all those who help at every stage and we want to offer a sincere thank you to everyone who helps make each event a success!!

PLEASE NOTE: The Stars are subject to change. We invite the stars from Days of our Lives but it is their decision on whether to come. If for some reason they do confirm and then need to back out, it is entirely out of our control. We do not anticipate stars backing out once they have confirmed, however, unforeseen issues do sometimes arise. We will do everything within our power to prevent this. Regardless of the situation, once a ticket is purchased, we are unable to provide any refunds for any events.
